New Guitar: Gibson Les Paul Studio “Vintage Mahogany” | Time to play b-sides
Forgot your password? By guitarman , December 4, in Electric Guitars. I'm totally confused. From what I can tell, there is absolutely no difference between the LP Vintage Mahogany which is apparently no longer made and the studio faded worn which is currently being sold. Only difference I see is they got cheap and started sending them with a gig bag instead of hardshell case. The round warmth of a carved mahogany top on a mahogany back first debuted in the famous Custom Black Beauty.
Is this a Vintage Mahogany or a Studio Faded? Confused.
Hey, Let me first introduce myself really quick. My name is Will and I'm a 14 year old guitarist from Eastern Canada. In short, I'm looking for a Les Paul to add to my collection and I've settled between these two. I always thought they were the same guitar but they appear to be different models!
This was a guitar that Sherry said that she liked a lot. On Friday over lunch I hightailed it over to Guitar Center in Cedar Rapids, and found out that the guitar in question was, in fact, on sale! This is a pretty interesting guitar in a lot of ways.
